Mentoring

In my offering of mindfulness and meditation practice mentoring, I support both 'on the cushion' practice and the integration of these practices and related teachings in everyday life. I believe that mindfulness practices can be transformative, and I feel gratitude to have the opportunity to share these gifts with others.

Practice mentoring may involve in-session meditation, working with whatever arises; applying mindfulness in everyday living; discussion of related readings or other learning; integration of insights arising on retreat; or discussion of other topics related to mindfulness meditation practice. Our work will aim to enrich and deepen practice, integrate practice into daily life, and navigate questions and challenges that arise. I ground this work in an attitude of friendly curiosity, gentle but honest inquiry, and compassion, and I find that this approach cultivates the courage to explore and offer presence with all that arises in the journey to healing, wholeness, and freedom.

Mentoring on a one-time or ongoing basis is available for individuals, couples, groups, and businesses either in person, by phone, or via Zoom or other online platform. For mentoring, I am able to work with clients from any geographic location. Fees for mentoring will be discussed on initial contact, and forms will be sent via email.

Although I am a practicing psychologist, it is important to note that the mentoring relationship is not a psychotherapy or counseling relationship. In the realm of mentoring, I do not diagnose or treat mental or psychological conditions, and our work won’t be reimbursable by insurance or FSAs. However, mindfulness and meditation practices have demonstrated psychological benefits, and you may experience some of those benefits in our work together.
